KWANZAA COUPLE
Because they were not allowed
to have a formal wedding the slaves
sought to validate their entrance into
wedded bliss by jumping the broom.
The Kwanzaa Couple are being
married in January during the
season of Kwanzaa.
They will jump the broom in remembrance
of ancestral tradition.
