Hagar and Ishmael

Hagar was the Egyptian slave of Sarah, the wife of Abraham.(Genesis 16)
She was punished because she did what her mistress commanded
her to do. But God blessed Ishmael and spared the child and his mother
when they were banished into the desert.
Hagar is "22 tall and Ishmael is "9
She is draped in silk scarfs. Her hair is braided around her head. She
wears Egyptian style leather shoes .
Hagar and Ishmael were exhibited at the NIADA 2000 convention in
Chicago.  They are featured in April-May 2001 "Contemporary Doll" gallery.
They were nominated in Dolls of Distinction  "Dolls Magazine"2001
Hagar and Ishmael were first presented in the "Dolls of Color 2001" calendar.
